The Mr Bricolage group has started work on the construction of its new warehouse in Cahors. The warehouse will be built to the south of Cahors.

This future warehouse with a surface area of 22,000 m² will supply group stores to the south of France in a few months. This warehouse will replace the former warehouse located in Cahors, which is too small to meet requirements.

The first stone was laid today, in the presence of many guests, including Martin Malvy, former Minister, President of the Regional council of Midi-Pyrenees; Gérard Miquel, Senator for the Lot department, President of the Departmental council; Jean-Marc Vayssouze-Faure, Mayor of Cahors and President of Grand Cahors; Geneviève Lagarde, President of Cahors-Sud, Vice-President of the Departmental council of Lot, Vice-President of Grand Cahors and Ronan Le Lan, Chairperson of the Board of directors of Argan (see photo below).

This new warehouse reinforces the logistics setup of the Mr.Bricolage group. Its three warehouses in Voivres-lès Le Mans, Cahors and Artenay (Norbert Dentressangle) deliver to over 900 stores operating under various names, as well as partner stores, located in mainland France, in French overseas territories and around the world.

The warehouse of Cahors will have the capacity to manage 15,000 product references delivered by 150 suppliers. Following the gradual increase in activity, the warehouse will employ an additional 50 people to back-up the current team.
